Amen! Funny we here at Spirit now have new hire classes full of NJA guys now. It's running 2.5 years to the left seat. With our new contract you're at ~$200/hr plus the DC and LTD. I only work 4 on and 5/6 off. 7 and 7 sucks! Plus I don't have to load bags and kiss ass of some schmuck that won't belly up and purchase his own jet! Best part of working at NJA was watching the quarter share owner take all the catering/stock off the Falcon in a garbage bag. Classy! The junior NJA guys are smart to bail out and find a better job with vertical movement.
I am very happy I made the decision to leave NJA for Spirit. I have personally recommended 5 NJA pilots to join us (3 have class dates). Can't believe I wasted 10 years at NJA. I actually love flying again and enjoy going to work. No more 18 day schedules and being worked like a mule.
