I see that regs allow previous 135 turbojet PIC time to be used towards the requirements of 121.436 in lieu of/combined with previous 121 time. Will these 135 PIC hrs actually lead to a new hire upgrading sooner or even right away (if they had a 1000)? Or does the company still require a certain # of company hrs, 121 hrs, etc before offering the left seat?
If your experience meets the requirements of 121.436 you can expect to upgrade in newhire training.
