Delta just launched E175’s with fewer passenger seats than 76 and one additional FA jumpseat to start phasing out their 700’s in some of their markets, and to stay within their contract cap. (The reason for the additional FA jumpseat is they don’t want to take a paying passengers seat for IOE of FA’s).
Rumors are out there that the regionals would be flying the E175’s with 100 seats as United management and union discuss the next step. There is also rumors that United E175’s would be taken in-house and only mainline pilots would fly them.
Whatever happens, I just want my 1,000 121 time done.
