One of the biggest improvements to my QOL has been the end of flipping my circadian clock around. I like flying evenings, so even as a SWA new hire, I've been able to stay on the PM schedule every month. It's hard to overstate how much better I feel at the end of a trip, and how much more alert I am when flying the plane. Being able to plan your rest is huge. I kept hoping NJA would get smarter with their scheduling, but if anything, it got worse as they got more "efficient."
