I think you are completely wrong. First, everybody I talk to is very particular about what they want to see, and we aren’t close to being there with most of it. Second, just any contract wouldn’t make it past the NC or MEC. They have negotiated a more than reasonable offer to the company and now it’s the company’s turn to play ball. You only get so many swings at the plate. We’ve come swinging since day one. Any sub standard contract will continue to plague this company for years with the inability to attract and retain a very valuable commodity, pilots. They know this, everyone knows this.

They have to come swinging for the fences to make this contract about trying to attract future pilots. It’s really not all about what we want anymore. It’s about fueling their growth. If they miss the mark here they’re going to starve their own plans. And if they can’t grow, this place dies on the vine.
