Some people enjoy doing whatever they want, when they want, with whom they want for that particular scenario. And no I spend litttle to no time in carribean locations. I used the term hag because I get the privelage of spending quality time sitting next to other pilots complain endlessly about their spouse and/or children. In 20 plus years of doing this I can count on two hands the number of married pilots who were truly happy in their arrangement. The percentage who are miserable is shocking. Haven't met a unmarried pilot who was miserable yet. I'm sure there is one. You may be happy and I say congrats and well done but I knew since I was an teenager that it wasn't my gig.
