I got hired at Delta last year with 15,000 hrs and 7 type ratings along with a head of rapidly graying hair. It can be done. I’d guess most of the civilians in my class had experience levels similar to yours. I also had a 24 year old in my class. It’s pretty obvious to me that Delta’s hiring practices are mysterious.
