you obviously don't know much about the Aloha operation and how much flying they do. They can barely fly the current schedule with 4 airplanes. If anything, combining the fleets will allow them to move a 5th aircraft to HNL, not reduce the the fleet.

how do you "bounce " a spare airplane back and forth? the whole point of a spare is that it is in place in the base you need it.
