-Shy isn’t an idiot. He’s a Jfk based VXer with an anylitcal perspective. 8/10 is probably pretty accurate in JFK. A lot of those guys live in base or have short commutes. If you just got bought and your new suitor was going to be shutting down SEA soon the mood might change a bit in gig harbor. -

I had these very concerns too. I actually voiced them when I heard we were still actively recruiting pilots from the east coast. I told those that actually had a say in keeping the JFK base open or closed that this was wrong to hire guys that wanted the east coast base only to close it on them and trap them here. I was assured that this was not the plan and JFK would remain a base going forward... I guess only time will tell but this is what I was told.

8/10 is still a lie... it’s an exaggeration because you are upset. Check back in 5 years tell me how many VX pilots leave... I will tell you it most certainly will be less then 2%.
