Everyone needs to chill out. The JCBA is done and we are no longer in negotiations. For those who are saying that we are always in negotiations, that's just your opinion. By your theory, then every work group at every airline is in constant negotiations and everyone picking up premium trips are not team players? Stick to the facts. Some of you remind me of those surviving WWII Japanese pilots who were found in Guam years after the war was over, who thought WWII was still going on. I'll say again, the JCBA is signed and done. 2020 negotiations have not officially begun. What is so wrong with exercising the benefits that the majority of the pilot group voted in? By the way, I have not voted yes on a single contract since I've been here but the masses have spoken. Get over it!
I'm no company man but some of you are totally OTL. If you have issues with this place, don't take it out on a fellow pilot. This forum is a good place to vent but that is where it should end. Many of us are survivors of Kasher and most of us have learned to move on from living in anger so chill out and enjoy your 75 hours of credit. Many have taken 35%+ payouts, lost homes, been through divorces, sat reserve for over 8+ years as an FO, couldn't bid to CA for well over a decade, etc. so yeah, I'd say let them reap the negotiated benefits until the next round of negotiations. If you have an axe to grind, do it at home and keep it sharp for 2020. Fights on!
