Scope carv outs aren't at management's whim, it's per the DALPA contract and Delta pilots are not interested in giving up scope just because it's SkyWest.
I believe that they can operate the MRJ90 for Alaska with 81 seats, on a separate certificate, only on flights where Delta, or its affiliates do not operate a city pair. That's the only very narrow exception. Only MRJ90/175E2 fit that exception, anything bigger is prohibited.
That's only because Alaska has the worst scope contract ever written, ever.
