Nope, the pilots do not load or unload the cargo.They used to, but we changed that last year.
The person who drops off or picks up the cargo (our customer) loads and unloads the plane.
I remember the days of loading and offloading 3400 lbs. of cargo from a BE99 back in the 1980's. Glad to hear it has changed.
