Perhaps you should tell that to Howard, Scott, and Oscar because that is not what they are telling new captains that attend the "Charm School" in Chicago. They are all on message saying, they intend to lead the industry with a new style of negotiating and getting a contract done early.
And they will stay on that message all the way up until they don't. Then it will change to the next message in their playbook of how they are trying, and list all the wonderful things they are offering, but can't get it done because ALPA has demands the company just can't do.... and if only you pilots would talk to your Union about being reasonable....
Long story short, we have seen this before. I'll believe this group is different when the actual results demonstrate a difference, not just the talking points.
As always, my Union speaks for me. And in the mean time, nothing to see here!
