Just wondering what time do crews normally report, especially in PSM, on the Tuesday the start their rotation and what time do they get off at the end of their rotation. Also once you get on the rotation do you stay on it or does it ever change?
Day 1 - Anytime between 4 am and home standby.
Day 8 - I have rarely gotten home before noon. Usually it’s between 3 and 10 pm. They’ll pay you some bucks if you get home past 8 pm.
You will normally stay on your same rotation unless you have:
- a training event that requires a shift in your schedule (you will get payback days)
- the schedule balance becomes so lopsided that they need volunteers to shift
- you upgrade or become an IP/check airman
