I agree it doesn't serve you well to act as separate groups, but from what my friends say, that is exactly what some of your group is doing. Like trying to staple all the Aloha guys to the bottom of a new list. Not exactly the "lets work together attitude". and no arbitrator has ever agreed to a merge like that. or guys in ANC saying stuff about the AQ guys in 767 training when they were up there instead of welcoming them.
As I said, very few have a problem. Tell your friends that the individual who made those comments does not speak for all of us, and our frustration with the issues we're having should be channeled towards management, not at each other.

As for the SLI, thats information that I'm not privy to, nor should the AAC pilot group be. However, I trust the guys who were on that committee enough to know that they would not take a position like that. The general consensus has always been that any joint list should be something fair that wouldn't create the bad blood we see at other merged airlines. Now, if some knucklehead made a comment to that effect in a crew room somewhere, I certainly haven't heard it, and I'd tell them they were an idiot if they did. It's not fair to take a few comments made by one or two people and apply it to a whole group, and it certainly isnt helpful to our shared goal of getting this contract done.
