However, I trust the guys who were on that committee enough to know that they would not take a position like that. The general consensus has always been that any joint list should be something fair that wouldn't create the bad blood we see at other merged airlines. Now, if some knucklehead made a comment to that effect in a crew room somewhere, I certainly haven't heard it, and I'd tell them they were an idiot if they did. It's not fair to take a few comments made by one or two people and apply it to a whole group, and it certainly isnt helpful to our shared goal of getting this contract done.
