A few years ago when I was instructing, I was doing a typical new-to-aviation-weather-products lesson with my wide eyed and innocent private pilot student. Upon opening aviationweather.gov, my eyes fell on a UUA for Severe Turbulence. "How strange!" I thought. In an instant my student's innocence was ripped from his head when I clicked on the link and beheld: TP 737 TURB SEV RMK GETTING BEAT DOWN LIKE A BLEEPING CIRCUS MONKEY.
