How about ALL of the AS pilots come through QX. Its the same overall company. You're trained to AS standards. They have complete job records on you.
The Bagwan once said, "I don't want to be the training facility for Alaska." In the mean time, QX pilots who would be excellent AS employees were going to SWA, UAL, etc.
However, it will never happen.
