Many previous military pilots are in HIMS and have been addicted to alcohol for years. In fact, from my experience they are over-represented in HIMS. The good news is many of them make full recovery and are outstanding employees.

I'm very aware of a case where a pilot claimed they were assaulted to prevent their own problems with addiction to surface. I'm not saying this is the case here, but it has happened in the past.

Personally, I found the #metoo reference in the court documents offensive. Comparing her to someone who is forced to use their sexuality to climb a corporate ladder and hide their experiences for decades while being repeatedly abused is not comparable to union pilots on a collective bargaining list that are governed by seniority.

I find her agenda revolting and diminishing to those women that need to put up with harassment garbage for decades and have no way out. This isn't Hollywood and this isnt the CEOs office, if a crime was committed and she acted differently he would be in jail.

The entire publicity surrounding the incident makes me sick. Disgusting.
