^^^ exactly. I drop all the time at AA, and overall I’m really happy with my scheduling flexibility here.

To the OP - it just goes to show that it’s not all about the airline, but also the particular equipment and base. I’m not dismissing jcountry’s inability to drop at AA, but I’m guessing he’s not on the 737 in NYC.
