But my eyes have been somewhat opened by my wife's experiences in the military. So I have come to the defense of the FO, in that others may not understand what was going on in her head in the immediate aftermath of something like this. At this point in time the lawyer is probably calling the shots.

My gut feel is that she's not making it up, although none of us know for sure, and may never know.
