Inspired by this thread I got on Amazon and ordered this Travel Pro Crew 10 22" roll aboard for $130. Today was my first day on a trip with it. I've been dragging a 26" Luggage works around for the last ten years or so. My first impression: WOW! this bag is feather weight compared to the LW. I'm not impressed with the minimalist J-hook on the TravelPro, but I'm only carrying a laptop case these days, so maybe it won't be that big a deal. The suiter compartment seems a waste right now. Also annoying at the moment are the zipper pouch arrangements. Lots of places to put things, but all on the front of the bag. None on the back. Will take some getting used to. On the plus side, I easily fit everything I stuffed in my 26" bag into the new 22" bag. The additional depth more than made up for the reduced length. And I can now fit my bag in the overhead the way its supposed to go, and not monopolize the entire bin anymore. As a bonus, it didn't get snagged on the 737 jumpseat the way my LW did every single time. I think I'm going to miss the handles on the LW bag - both the padded telescoping and the top & side hand straps seem more comfortable than the plastic ones on the TravelPro bag, but I won't miss the extra weight.

Bottom line: Day 1, I'm happy with my new bag.
