I'm willing to bet if the majority voted no, then the offer would've been retracted and nothing would've changed. It's simply how this company works. It sucks, many don't agree with it, but Rick is correct. The only way to improve things, at least your personal financial situation, is to get what you need and move on. If only there was some organization that could unite the pilot group and collectively bargain for you guys... I get it completely. We little regional guys have very little power. To be honest, even mainline labor really doesn't, thanks to the RLA. One bad recession and a bankruptcy, you're screwed. The market is far more powerful than we'll ever be. The fact is YOU don't get it. We're in one of the best labor markets for pilots in decades, and you guys vote in what you did. Grow up, stand up for what you're worth and secure some gains while you can. You'll be thankful you did. The rest of the industry will be too.
