That is a stupid statement. I'm sure the % of people in the military with a drinking problem is similar to that on the outside. People with drinking problems don't rationally think about the consequences of their actions, they just need another drink. I'm not saying the Alaska pilots had a problem or they didn't, but your cart blanche statement doesn't hold water.
