This contract has significant pay increases. If you are sitting on good rates now that is less of a factor, the ATI guys are not sitting on good rates.
Folks talk about this contract as if it was the worst one they've every seen. Is it the best contract ever? No. Garbage? That seems like a stretch.
One thing that would give ATI/ABX pilots more leverage were if they had the same union at least but that ship has sailed I think unfortunately. The rodeo starts up again in a few years...

It's garbage. Significant pay increase on top of garbage is still garbage. The ATI TA was designed to do one thing, whipsaw ABX. It's the exact same numbers ABX already turned down. It's garbage and they'd be morons for taking it.
