This is a bit rough, but don't be too disheartened. Every class is different, and a lot has to do with the priorities of your classmates and a bit of chance.
In my class, the 175 didn't get picked until the third person selected, and the CRJ slots were all gone several picks before the end. So, the youngest guys in class ended up in the 145.
No cadets, and only 1 prior 121 guy picked the 175. All the 175 slots except for that one went to people who were selecting based on their age.
Don't pick a company based on equipment, at least in a vacuum. There are WAY more important factors that should go into your decision making.
And, as was mentioned, you could just try and go for the CRJ knowing they are going away. You will end up with a worthy type on your certificate, and know the end-game could you see you getting displaced exactly where you want to be.
Think two years out, not two months.
