Personally I dislike being up there, but it is a VERY SMALL part of the overall job. It is the most uncomfortable seat in the jet! I’d much rather be in my recliner at home. Anytime you see a Fed, he/she does have a legitimate purpose for being there. We do try to list ahead of time. Some carriers are FCFS. Lastly, please be advised that Fed’s are not allowed to “commute” using the JS, PERIOD! We buy tickets for personal travel just like everyone else.
