The River is decent boating and you never get tired of it.
I have 2 boats: A 17’ Cobia skiff for river and canal cruising, and a 28’
Albin for the Keys and the Bahamas.
From my house it takes :45 to the ocean, or :35 to the ICW.
Decent day trips can be anything around here, too many choices.
Lots of bars and restaurants with free dockage.
Take the boat out for lunch or for dinner. Or both.
Biscayne Bay is good with unlimited free anchorages and plenty to do.
Bahamas is 4 hours away in a powerboat and 10 hours in a sailboat.
Love it over there. Clean, clear water and great seafood and rum.
SE Florida is a dream for boaters, a Waterfront home makes it that much better.
