I get pretty annoyed with the union bashing in thread after thread. Guess what? It’s your union. If you don’t like how it’s being run then volunteer or run for election. Complaining on APC does nothing.

Last fall, the union and the company reached a reserve LOA. It had gives on both sides, but still favored the company. The MEC pulled the LOA without a vote because the pilot groups response was so strong against it. The company then decided to take their ball and go home and stopped negotiating for the winter. The union can’t do much to improve things if the company won’t meet with them. Bottom line, don’t blame the union, blame management.
