You can get an instant meat thermometer off amazon for a few bucks. Should be in any serious cooks tool box to begin with. Food above 42 degrees, toss it. Not that I’m making excuses that we should have to go to that level, but if you wanted to stack the deck in your favor....
I guess that’s my point, I’m just trying to be a serious pilot when I come to work, with occasional success. Maybe serious cook later.
