Real talk though...with news of vacations being taken away from FOs again for the month of May, constant junior manning and Crib pay emails from frantic schedulers, and no end in sight for raised floors and decreasing pairing efficiency leading to many minimum-day-off lines, when is something going to give? The company desperately needs FOs right now, yet half the reason you come to a regional like this one is quick seniority gains for decent quality of life (days off, efficient trips, etc.) for the time that you're here. Current FOs know we're very far from that right now, and I can't see any end to the current status quo of being overworked any time soon. Couple that with decreased upgrades/inaccurately advertised upgrade times and the problem of not attracting/retaining FOs gets even worse. What reason do current FOs have to stay here, and why not choose a higher paying more "stable" regional, or even an LCC if that's an option for you starting out? Does anybody have any reason to think the schedules/staffing will get better in the near future? Not sure what the latest is about schoolhouse new-hire output but last I heard things aren't going so smoothly in there either.

All that being said, if you want to build a lot of time quickly and can stand being at work most of the month, then look no further than Compass Airlines.
