The pay obviously isn't too low otherwise we wouldn't have sufficient applicants to interview and to fill classes with. I'd love to hand guys $105/hour year one but I won't waste an ounce of my negotiating capital for guys/gals who aren't even on property yet.
Once the flow of applicants stops then NK can raise the first year pay accordingly.
$1700/month is disgusting for a new hire pilot these days. Even the regionals pay twice if not more than twice that.
Eating your young is the worst thing a group of unionists could do. It shows a lack of character in caring about new hires. News flash these guys are on property, they are new hires, not interviewees.
