You must burn sick leave to a minimum of 120 hours, or wait 90 days, whichever is longer.
The 90 wait can be satisfied while burning sick leave.
If you have 1000 hours, you burn to 120 or less, your choice. When you have burned the sick leave you go straight to LTD benefit.
On the other extreme, you have no sick leave, you will go without pay for 90 days until LTD starts.
Vacation pay and the fact we get paid in arrears will partially mitigate that wait period.
