Longest FO reserve within the last year I think is around 11-12 months. Just talked to a new FO that had 1 full month of reserve. It all depends on when you get hired and the staffing of the company.
this is accurate.
Upgraded and skipped a bunch if people with the time right at the tail end of the upgrade wave. Went months with people upgrading ahead of me, then the months were no one upgraded at all.
I'm finally in a position that my seniority should hold and upgrades are junior to me now. Another month or two and I'll hold a line.
I'm certainly not unique in the situation, but we are still kind of an outlier.
