At what speed do you guys come out of reverse on landing. I watched a 145 turn off the runway today onto a perpendicular taxiway, and cross the hold short line with the reversers fully deployed....absolutely no reason to have them deployed that long. 10000 hrs in Embraers and I’ve never seen that before.
Thats pretty standard along with the powerbacks from the gate. You must have just been flying the 145 all wrong.
Nah when we land 35 sometimes in the mix of getting off on the high speed and transfer of controls it can be a little tricky to click them out of idle. I generally choose that steering the plane safely onto a taxiway takes priority over whether or not my buckets are at idle.
