Nah when we land 35 sometimes in the mix of getting off on the high speed and transfer of controls it can be a little tricky to click them out of idle. I generally choose that steering the plane safely onto a taxiway takes priority over whether or not my buckets are at idle.
Exactly. It isn't an earth-shattering event with this engine. As a matter of fact, if you ask Embraer, idle reverse can be taken as low as 30 knots without cause for alarm. Just like the Brasilia, which is the platform where they built it from. 60 knots is our company procedure, aligns us with mainline, adds another layer of FOD protection, blah blah, all that.
