When an airline places more value on GPA points than it does from their own line Captains we've got a problem.
I respectfully disagree with the first part of your statement. I graudated Summa Cum Laude in a real major, with a ton of volunteer work, over 15 internal recs, and 121 TPIC... And still crickets. I think there's no algorithm at all, and they're just throwing darts at a board plastered with which ever apps are randomly selected that week. Some people get lucky, some don't. Until that email comes along, UAL isn't the only girl (or guy... Not that there's anything wrong with that
) at the dance.
