Thanks Knewyork! That was the kind of info I was looking for. I am very similar to you. I dont need a soaking tub and other high end useless amenities, but as long as it's clean, has a gym, and maybe the ability to go for a run outside, I am good to go.

I travel a lot for my non-flying job right now and we get to pick where we stay (within budget of course) so giving up that flexibility was a little scary if the hotels were iffy. But glad to hear most are clean and "sleep-able" if you will.
