However, I will continue to work hard to get everyone from point A to point B safely and in a timely manor. I will keep the agents and FAs informed, and speak to the pax from the cockpit.
The people who write this stuff should be focused on improving the subpar pay, software, travel, & benefits they provide us with and then maybe we’ll think about going the extra mile. What a joke our mgmt is. Keep shaking those trees and pulling those levers; it’s working so well!
That 25, gusting 35 knot 90 degree crosswind I landed in twice yesterday at LAX is what I get paid to do, for pennies on the dollar I might add compared to the delta guy who landed in front of me and the United guy who landed behind me. I swear to (insert your supreme deity here) I was looking out the DV window. What they don't do is pay me nearly enough to be a toastmaster. I only wear the hat because if I have to drag it around with me like we are still living in the 1960's it's easier to keep track of if it's on my head.
