You can try tuna in the foil pouches, they keep forever and don't need to be kept cool.
And they don't stink up the airplane? Or are we talking only at the motel on overnights? I'd be afraid of having tuna cans or pouches hanging out in the cockpit for the remainder of a flight after lunch.
