In the Air Force it's only 6 hours but we can not use the CR stuff...other sleep meds like restoril and lunesta are 12 hours DNIF...I use the ambien about once every 6-10 weeks and it works like a champ.
Military's all different...in FAA-land we can't use go-pills either
