We need to fix the screening processes... medical exams, sim checks, pro-standards and chief pilots are not doing the jobs they were designed to do. Fix that.
Don't terminate capable pilots just because some XX (pick an arbitrary age) year old pilot has issues.
When I was a young man, people judged certain others incompetent because of the color of their skin. It was a lot easier than judging them on their merits/demerits...but unjust.

Wasn't your career advancement at your previous job based on an arbitrary mandatory retirement age? Were you pushing for gummers to stay on until they die in the cockpit as you moved up the ranks and pay scale?
