For NYC, bid last out on a weekdays only schedule if you would like to have the month off... long calls here aren’t getting used as much as other bases. Probably due to the 16+ we have.
I was LCR in March, and I will be LCR in May also. I've been used quite a bit given 4-5 day trips on my LCR days. I have been given the day off on LCR a few days and just stayed at home (which is nice).
