In other news, Mesa is feeling confident enough with the amount of new hires to fire a couple of pilots for attendance issues. If they were genuinely sick with doctor's notes or used the commuter clause that is part of our contract, I would imagine the union would get involved. Probably a scare tactic, but it doesn't help with their morale issues.
In this pilot market, I don’t understand why anyone puts up with their crap. Mesa is basically union-less because they are so ingrained with management
