You might have been awarded your reserve availability period from 9am to 9pm, which before meant the earliest they could call was 9a for a 11a showtime. Now, they can have you show at 4am and you have to check the night before. Basically they have you for the entire 24 hour period of each day of reserve. Company loves it!

So seriously, in this environment, are your junior people - the ones actually sitting reserve because they don't have enough seniority to hold a line - going to stay? It would seem like they would have relatively little to lose by taking their type ratings and the 121 hours they already have accumulated and putting applications out to other regionals with better QOL. Or are they encumbered by some sort of training contract?
