Another pilot, at either UPS or FedEx, said online that his HR reps told them that they had enough resumes for about 3 years of hiring, and then they had no idea how they would hire enough pilots to keep all their planes in the air.
Cool story.
In 3 years, all regionals will disappear and the majors will start hiring from the LCCs. And our wages go through the roof to attract all of the LCC pilots. I'm going to start planning on making $1000/hr in 2021. I'd better start shopping for my multimillion dollar mansion now. Slightly off topic - anyone have an opinion on the best color combo (interior/exterior) for a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder? Keep in mind that I may want to buy a matching Lamborghini Urus for my next ex-wife; I've got a prospect in mind - she has an Instagram page where she models a bunch of different stilettos.
Oh crap, never mind. I just heard a rumor that the ICAO mandatory retirement age is going to 95. That's STILL age discrimination.
