Different strokes for different folks. I actually don't mind going to work. If I did, I'd find something else to do that I enjoy. I'll work 2-3 day trips with 1-3 legs a day avg. If I can't get the schedule I want due to seniority I bid rsv and will go 5-6 days unused for 20 days off and end up with 110-115 credit. If I want more pay I can pick up a day trip or two and end up in the 130 range.
To me what sounds terrible is flying on the back side of the clock. Doesn't matter where you layover on a WB, odds are you're working the back side of the clock at some point. I don't even like doing flights before noon....which makes the AM/PM schedule such a perk.
