I'm just pointing out that in hindsight perhaps the MEC and NC guys were right to have supported the 2015 TA. They said repeatedly that if the TA got voted down that a new one would likely not be reached for at least 18 months, which was the early-opener from that two year duration TA. So in other words, the group could have been enjoying the QOL benefits of the TA (although they were fairly modest for line holders) for the last 2.5 years and re-started negotiating again a full year ago with those gains locked in.
I was a yes at first for that 2015 TA...then republic came out with their TA right in the middle of our voting and they had pay increases and even some better QOL improvements for reserves that we didn't have and much better per diem.

I voted no because I realized that we could do better .
