*IF* OO increases pay to match EDV by early next year - which I doubt - I want to know which airline would give me a better QOL in DTW. If OO decided to start paying people a livable wage, i'd be more interested. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm going to be NYC based more than I'm willing by going to EDV, or if I'll spend 5 years sitting on ready reserve at the DTW airport after upgrading to captain.
You can hold DTW right out of training at 9E. DTW is senior for captains but by the time you have 1000 hours of 121 you should be able to hold it, especially with the base growing

OO quality of life is pretty bad from what I hear and it’s more than just the pay difference.
