No doubt, but at the end of the day, we’ve been hearing this story for years. The same poster has been coming here since 2016 spewing the same story. Next year this, next year that...Maybe after three years, they will be right, who knows? I’m not sold on this place after the contracts are up, but I do believe everything will work out regardless.
Now Compass is behind the curve and may never fully catch up. If the trend continues the mainline partners will lose faith in Compass and move planes to somewhere they feel will be able to staff.
My guess on planes going back to a wholly owned is that they can quickly change incentives and have better quality control than by further outsourcing their regional flying.
